"Attic." from Bonn was founded by Viktor (guitar) and Marcel (vocals/guitar) in March 2016, who found the love for music through hard phases of single life and boredom.

The sound developed quickly and required a full band. So Tim (bass) and, after a long search for a permanent member, Dominik (drums) joined the band.

Now the four of them are on stage and want to shave you smooth with killer riffs, hard drums and catchy vocal melodies.

Bye Mon Ami is a German-Luxembourgish synth-pop band that will make you dance! Since 2019, the quintet has been dedicated to different varieties of pop music. The band combines a modern sound with a few chocolate sprinkles from other musical decades such as the 80s, as well as borrowings from bands like Jamiroquai or Nothing But Thieves.

Bye Mon Ami breaks with some band conventions both live and in the studio: The musicians deliberately do without conventional drums or physical guitar and bass amplifiers. In addition to their first EP "Better Than Fashion", the band has released numerous singles in recent years. Carla's music is a mixture of emotions and melodies that touch the heart. She processes daydreams and feelings from her life in her songs, which particularly appeal to her own restless generation. Often labelled as the better Spotify DJ, Symbiosis has worked his way up from stage hand to stage professional. With his turntables, he screws the hits into his listeners' ears. Whether at a gala dinner, wedding or demolition barn party, the audience dances and sings.

DOTE are: Jonah (vocals, guitar, synths, programming), Moritz (guitar, synths, Rhodes), Niclas (bass) and Lukas (vocals, drums, percussion, samples).

They met in the school choir at grammar school and then came together as a band at the end of 2015.

Fabian Saller is a pop musician from Düsseldorf. Catchy melodies and modern sounds meet influences from soul, funk and acoustic sounds in the 26-year-old's music. The songs are sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes dance-inducing and are always emotionally characterised - whether particularly euphoric or rather melancholic. Fabian Saller released his second EP "Place/Time" in the summer of 2023 and his sound shows respect for the greats of our time on the one hand and love for everything that is yet to come on the other - and hopes to be part of it.

I'm Fina and I make pop music in German on the piano. With very personal lyrics, melancholic and hopeful at the same time, vulnerable and courageous, but always with a certain lightness. Comparable to artists like Birdy and Lina Maly. I'm currently writing my new EP and putting together a live band that I'd love to play with at your festival (either as a duo or as a four-piece, depending on how it fits).

It's not just the red hair of the 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Aachen that has become her trademark over the past year. In March 2023, her handmade music left the in-house studio with her debut single "Alles Neu". Through the interplay of intimacy and attitude in her songs, she takes her newfound fans on her journey as a musician through the music industry jungle. In addition to winning awards at the Germany-wide "Jugend Musiziert" competition in 2022, FINJA took part in the casting show "The Voice Of Germany" in 2023, where she sang her way through to the semi-finals. She then released her single "Metall" with the Berlin label "Embassy Of Music" and has been under contract there ever since. A look at her future plans reveals that multi-faceted music and exciting projects will continue to be the benchmark in FINJA's career as a musician.

We are nine people who met for the first time 3 years ago in the basement of a flat share and got to know each other through making music and jamming. Since then, we've put on a few concerts, an EP and many more tracks that are full of love and that we now want to share with the world.

Give Me A Remedy is the name of the young band from Giessen, who have made it their mission to captivate their audience with a variety of emotions.

In their songs they celebrate community and life without turning a blind eye to problems and conflicts.

Jonny Mahoro could hardly wait to immerse himself in the world of music. At the age of six, the singer & songwriter was already drawn to the stage with a choir in his hometown of Bonn. Although he also began his musical journey with the trombone, since his appearance on "The Voice Germany" in 2017 at the latest, it has been exclusively the guitar that has become like an extension of the likeable artist's arm and he can hardly imagine life without it.

Before Jonny decided to conquer the stages as a solo artist in 2022, the Berliner-by-choice performed with his former duo partner as "Jonny & Jakob". With this project, they opened for artists such as LEA, Alice Merton, Milow and Wincent Weiss and went on a successful headlining tour through Germany.

His music is authentic German pop that makes it clear that showing your feelings is not a weakness. In his songs, such as "Leer geliebt", Jonny expresses his emotions through his guitar sounds. At the same time, his works are supported by produced beats that reflect his preference for RnB and indie music. Jonny sets his thoughts to music and also shares his poems on social media, giving deep insights into his eventful life.

Despite this openness, Jonny Mahoro remains one thing above all: a philanthropist and a cheerful person. His greatest hope is that his music will make people feel less alone. His message is: "Spread Love and Kindness."

The man behind KÔRNEL is Konstantin Kornel, who has now brought together a whole collective of talented musicians under this umbrella to explore a musical space in the field of alternative artpop (and everything in between). The collective has been playing the stages of the Cologne/Bonn region since 2021. We are currently recording our first album, which we plan to release at the end of 2023.

Seeing the world with different eyes and finding their way back to themselves - that's what the guys from the newcomer band "LAUTSTÆRKE" have in common with their first EP "Zurück zu Dir".

Last year, LEONORA was on the line-up of several festivals alongside artists such as Nina Chuba, Majan and Leoniden.

LUCIE LICHT is German-language glitter pop! Sparkling sounds and profound thoughts, packed in playful lyrics, paired with dancy beats and good vibes, that describes the music of the Cologne-based artist quite well.

LIVE, whether alone or together with her glittering band, the artist radiates good mood vibes and lures even the last dance grouch out of the reserve with her natural and positively infectious manner. Her songs are deeply moving and thought-provoking. If you add a dash of "disco glitter" and "retro charm" to this recipe, the Lucie Licht "mix" is perfect and off you go!

Maryaka's musical journey began at the age of 12 when she simply started playing off-key. This was followed by her first attempts at her own songs before she received positive feedback on her music for the first time when she took part in the Herne Youth Culture Prize, which gave her the motivation to continue with her music. She has been doing this intensively for around five years. Maryaka is now 25 years old, lives, studies, writes songs, sings and plays piano and guitar in Cologne.

After a few impressively mature and "wide" self-released songs over the past two years, Maryaka's first small physical release, grow/try, is now available. Two songs on 7" vinyl, released by Grand Hotel van Cleef and only available in the label's own online shop and at their concerts. The single is of course also available for streaming and there are videos for both songs on YouTube.

Emotional lyrics accompanied by melancholic guitar playing and piano are nothing special so far. But what Maryaka makes you feel through her songs is. With her unmistakable voice, the lyrical clarity and depth of an experienced blues singer and the spin and freshness of the youth of today, what Maryaka does is something special.

Melchi Vepouyoum is a singer-songwriter from Cameroon who has been living in Bonn for several years. He sings in his mother tongue Bamoun and his youth language Camfranglais, a mixture of English, French and local Cameroonian languages, as well as in French and English.

In his songs, Melchi recounts his experiences in his parents' village and his youth in the big city. In doing so, he describes the current realities of Cameroonian society. He talks about daily life in the villages, the situation of women and children and the importance of solidarity and love.

Jakob, Kai, Max, Kai and Laura have taken this motto into their heads and work it into their German-language pop-punk lyrics. They also like to describe their musical style as good mood rock.
Sometimes soulful, sometimes frighteningly honest - the five friends want to touch people with their music, but also wake them up.
Their aim at every gig is for people to leave the venue in a positive mood afterwards and with one of their catchy tunes.

It was the search for a purpose, a perspective and a direction in life that drove Mina Richman to music at an early age. Born in Berlin but raised in the small town of Bad Salzuflen, she travelled between worlds and discovered treasures such as Joan As Police Woman and Nina Simone in her aunt's CD collection. Soul and blues, hip-hop culture and the revolt of the great female singer-songwriters are her inspiration as she works on her debut EP "Jaywalker" (2022), with which she is nominated for the PopNRW Award as best newcomer. Raised by her father to be a feminist "by mistake" - as she once put it in an interview with Die Zeit - she used the famous Cher quote "Mum, I ama rich man" for her artist name.

reports on tea, drugs and the one pub where you always end up stranded at the end of the evening.

Made for synthesiser lovers and dance enthusiasts, they usher in the era of the new new new German wave.

Two very nice officials, who came to the last concert because of a noise complaint, described the band's sound with the words:

"Excuse me? No, I'm not saying anything for your press release! Tell the people to stop dancing, we have to get through this!"

The band themselves describe the genre with a wink as Cindy pop.

ORTA is reshuffling the cards of the German music scene with its German-language version of neo-soul. With restlessly driving music and reflective, currently critical lyrics, ORTA shows its love of musical detail. The project, founded by Daniel Orta, has been in existence since spring 2021 and draws heavily on jazzy harmonies, hip-hop beats and the new sound of the UK scene. As a fan of Tom Misch, Nubya Garcia, Kokoroko, Oscar Jerome and co, ORTA's lyrics welcome the kaleidoscopic sounds of South London to the German-speaking music world.

DJ Paul Abends from Cologne particularly loves one thing about techno: groove, percussion, and rhythm. His song selection not only makes any crowd dance but also aims to bring the euphoria of avant-garde underground grooves to clubs and festivals.

Having learned to use DJ decks at just 16 years old, Paul’s experience spans from EDM to hip-hop, eventually developing a more individual character. Combinations of trance, hardgroove techno, and house are essential parts of his unique sound, which balances groove and percussion with emotional breaks and euphoric drops.

Their principle is to surprise with their music.

Reggae, funk, rock and soul are shredded wildly through the mixer and used to create their very own musical cocktail. The main thing is funky fresh! The young band from Bonn is bursting with life and it's all over the place. They learnt to play instruments before they could walk and play them until they drop! Rooftalk, an indie pop band based in Germany and England and founded in the summer of 2020, is the result of a long-standing friendship between Marvin-John, Jan and Philipp. The resulting musical synergy led the three to decipher and recode the world through the language of music. The trio's musical journey is reflected in their versatility, characterised by a broad spectrum of genres that they have explored both as musicians and as attentive listeners. The result of these artistic explorations are songs that range from nostalgia-soaked anthems to visually powerful love ballads to passionate outbursts of a troubled self. Rooftalk, a fusion of past and present that redefines indie pop with their unique artistic vision.

A strikingly banging and versatile musical formation is entering the German music scene in 2018: Rules Of This Game are a congenial duo from a small Rhineland town with Cologne Cathedral in sight and have created their own musical style: Electrative Rock! Shao, also known as Social Smoker, has been making music for 3 years now. Between reverb-filled guitar sounds, calm folk-pop, loud acoustic rock and loud distorted passages, you can find everything in his music that helps him express his feelings as directly as possible. Together with an energetic stage performance, his songs always manage to entertain the audience.

Stranger's Dopamine are intoxicating, emotional and powerful at the same time. Amidst melancholic alternative rock and rhythmic indie rock, the musicians talk about the mysteries of the new and the dreamy path into the undefined.

The band from Cologne is characterised by rousing bass lines and the unique, two-part vocals of the two singers. Driving drum grooves and melodic guitar playing make Stranger's Dopamine the next insider tip for nostalgic alternative rock sounds of underground culture.

So far, the band has released an EP entitled "Nothing But Words" and the single "Kill a Will".

Two 1210s, a mixing desk and two bags of vinyl - full to the brim with schmunky stuff. When Hennig and Jounce take over the NatFak Festival stage for the finale, it's time to bounce again. With their Taban Schmunkeln DJ crew, the einausflug mainstays have already brought the odd unusual Bonn location to the boil in recent years. Funky rhythms, driving house cuts and a pop note here and there - on 12 July 2024, the two will show us just how groovy PVC can be.

We are "The Honeyclub" from Bochum and bring the freshest rock to your stage. Honoured as the best student band in the Ruhr area in 2020, our fanbase has grown considerably since then and has brought us gigs at "Bochum Total" and on 1LIVE and support acts with high-ranking acts such as "Hi! Spencer" or "Tom Allan & the Strangest". We were also able to play our first international gig in Barcelona.

The ambitious goal - to free rock'n'roll from its old patina and lead it to new strength - is underpinned by the ambitious EP "Imagine Life", which was released in December and produced by Grammy winner Alberto Perez in Barcelona. The centrepiece of the record is the epic-philosophical catchy tune "Fishes", which is also the highlight of the live set.

The positively ambitious trend of over 25 public appearances this year is set to increase with further shows at festivals and concerts next year.

Tuesday News have been making music together in a changing line-up for eight years. Originating from a band project at the Haus der Jugend in Kessenich, the band has long since developed a momentum of its own, resulting in an extensive repertoire of original songs.

Bonn, autumn 2018: While cooking soft wheat semolina on Fridays, the idea was born to combine the influences of a Mark Knopfler-fanatic curly-haired man with those of a jazz and blues pianist in a flamingo shirt and to broadcast this mixture from their own four walls to the world. All that was missing was the trombone... Right bass and drums. So in the middle of the year, we welcomed Tombob into our circle. And his €60 bass. "Weekend is back." A sentence from the collection of German rap clichés that is simply true when Weekend returns after two years of album absence. But it's also a sentence that shouldn't really be necessary, because Weekend wants just as little to do with German rap clichés as he does with all other forms of organised nonsense - and he lashes out accordingly on "Keiner ist gestorben".

"I'm back and I think everything sucks," is how the Stuttgart native sums up his current mindstate and album number four. And remains true to himself in a refreshing way. Musically, too, Weekend is striking a chord that he carved for himself with his previous albums: Instead of chasing after the one-size-fits-all sound aesthetic currently prescribed by the zeitgeist, Weekend gives it a proper rattling in boombap rhythms without even beginning to cater to any retro desires.
