Dortmund newcomers Finn & Jonaser have been conquering their fans for three years with honest lyrics and rousing melodies. Now, however, they are "up for more" and have changed their name to BRUCHBUDE.

The twins agree: "It's time for more rough edges and now we're simply more than just Finn & Jonas. We are a band - a whole team that we have got to know and love over the last three years"

Kira writes empathetic lyrics. In her songs, the 20-year-old songwriter talks about new beginnings and change, about growing up.

At the moment, she is waiting for the first ice cream of the summer and her next releases. "I hope that my music evokes emotions and that people can dance to it, think about it and discover themselves in it." Living in the moment, being brave, believing that anything is possible; that's what Kira is living by at the moment.

ORTA is reshuffling the cards of the German music scene with its German-language version of neo-soul. With restlessly driving music and reflective, currently critical lyrics, ORTA shows its love of musical detail. The project, founded by Daniel Orta, has been in existence since spring 2021 and draws heavily on jazzy harmonies, hip-hop beats and the new sound of the UK scene. As a fan of Tom Misch, Nubya Garcia, Kokoroko, Oscar Jerome and co, ORTA's lyrics welcome the kaleidoscopic sounds of South London to the German-speaking music world.

DJ Paul Abends from Cologne particularly loves one thing about techno: groove, percussion, and rhythm. His song selection not only makes any crowd dance but also aims to bring the euphoria of avant-garde underground grooves to clubs and festivals.

Having learned to use DJ decks at just 16 years old, Paul’s experience spans from EDM to hip-hop, eventually developing a more individual character. Combinations of trance, hardgroove techno, and house are essential parts of his unique sound, which balances groove and percussion with emotional breaks and euphoric drops.

Rooftalk, an indie pop band based in Germany and England and founded in the summer of 2020, is the result of a long-standing friendship between Marvin-John, Jan and Philipp. The resulting musical synergy led the three to decipher and recode the world through the language of music. The trio's musical journey is reflected in their versatility, characterised by a broad spectrum of genres that they have explored both as musicians and as attentive listeners. The result of these artistic explorations are songs that range from nostalgia-soaked anthems to visually powerful love ballads to passionate outbursts of a troubled self. Rooftalk, a fusion of past and present that redefines indie pop with their unique artistic vision.

A strikingly banging and versatile musical formation is entering the German music scene in 2018: Rules Of This Game are a congenial duo from a small Rhineland town with Cologne Cathedral in sight and have created their own musical style: Electrative Rock! What is it? A very unique mixture of modern rock and EDM paired with a good touch of punk appeal, alternative sound and a lot of poppy "catchy melodies". With their Taban Schmunkeln DJ crew, the einausflug mainstays have already brought the odd unusual Bonn location to the boil in recent years. Funky rhythms, driving house cuts and a pop note here and there - on 12 July 2024, the two will show us just how groovy PVC can be.

With VAVUNETTHA, poppy melodies and hip-hop inspired beats meet thoughts about the human condition. Her music embodies modern perspectives on topics such as intoxication, depression and the search for interpersonal relationships.

With her songs, she allows the audience to participate in her world of thoughts and wants to create a safe space for herself and others. Collective healing is a major theme for VAVUNETTHA. Especially at her live gigs, the jointly created safe space takes centre stage. Together with her DJ and live musicians, she brings a whole new vibe to pop music and creates safety in dealing with origins, emotions and traumas.
