UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund (UN). Every child in the world has the right to a childhood.
As the UNICEF Bonn University Group, we volunteer to help make this right a reality.We provide information about the situation of disadvantaged children worldwide and seek dialogue with the public - through talks, information stands, school visits, exhibitions and press work. We also use creative campaigns to collect donations - an important contribution, as UNICEF is financed exclusively by voluntary contributions.

Anyone who visits us can win small prizes on our wheel of fortune.

We are committed to providing neutral and appropriate information on the subject of organ donation in Germany. Our aim is to bring as many people as possible into contact with the topic and to support them in making an informed decision, whether in favour of or against organ donation! It is particularly important to us that we take a neutral stance and that making a decision takes centre stage.

To this end, we go to secondary schools, vocational schools, give public lectures or can be found at trade fairs and enter into dialogue with citizens. On these occasions, we distribute organ donor cards on which the will can be recorded - whether directly on site or at home. You can also get information material and some merchandise from us.

The Beethovenfest Bonn is one of the largest and most innovative classical music festivals in Germany. Ludwig van Beethoven grew up in Bonn and experienced his most formative years here. The festival aims to spread the spirit of the young, progressive and outgoing Beethoven and create an environment for artists to bring Beethoven's work to life in the 21st century. Every year in September, the Beethovenfest organises around 80 concerts - from major international orchestras to pop acts - as well as talks, exhibitions and workshops for everyone. The 2024 festival, which runs from 5 September to 3 October, has the motto "Together" and takes an artistic approach to democracy and participation. Not only renowned international musicians will be performing on stage, but also many Bonn groups, such as the Bonn Camerata musicale university orchestra. CAMPUS FESTIVAL visitors can find out about the programme at the festival's electric media car, the bee.mobil - and use the popular selfie photo box.

bonnFM is the campus radio station by and for students at the University of Bonn and Bonn/Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. From radio programmes and online articles to social media, students can try their hand at various areas and take their first steps in journalism.

We are an association of gender equality activists at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. We are committed to improving conditions for underrepresented groups at our faculty so that they can realise their potential without obstacles. Among other things, we work on reducing career barriers within the faculties, organise regular networking events and workshops, visit research institutions and make role models more visible.

Whether theatre, music, art, readings, theme days, discussions and film evenings - Bonn is a great city to study in with a lively university culture! In addition to your studies, there are numerous cultural, socio-political or intercultural programmes in which you can develop personally and which will drive you forward!

So that as many students as possible can benefit from these offers and organise them themselves, the cultural department of the AStA of the University of Bonn already supports around 70 cultural groups and student initiatives.

We would like to offer interested students the opportunity to get to know us, ask questions and generally engage in dialogue. We would also like to draw attention to our plays this semester "Caesar in Space" and "Die Kinder haben sich in Sittiche verwandelt".

The Kurfürstliches Hoftheater is the only student-organised theatre group at the University of Bonn. Student-organised - that means flat hierarchies, no external organisers and everyone can take part. By students - for students.

We, the NABU university group in Bonn, are committed to nature and species conservation in the region. Together we actively protect nature, record populations of butterflies, dragonflies and house martins, build insect hotels, go on excursions and much more. Sustainability and environmental protection also play an important role for us.

We print fabrics quickly and easily using the lavender oil method. Bring a light-coloured fabric (T-shirt, bag, etc.) and print it with a motif that you have brought yourself or that we have provided. If you don't have a suitable fabric, we also have a few jute bags that we can provide. All motifs that are not too detailed are suitable, regardless of size. For the motifs, make sure that they come from a laser printer (e.g. from a copy shop), inkjet prints (from most household printers) unfortunately do not work. You can use this sustainable printing method to upgrade old or boring pieces. We provide the lavender oil and other materials required. We look forward to seeing you at our stand!

The student association Politik und Gesellschaft - Forum für junge Politikwissenschaft e. V. publishes outstanding term papers by Bonn students of political science, sociology and history once a semester.

Our aim is to give students the recognition they deserve and at the same time serve as a publication platform. However, it is not only the authors who benefit from our work; first-year students are also shown how to write an outstanding paper in terms of form and content.

At the University Group for Politics and Society, booklets with outstanding term papers by Bonn students can be purchased at the stand. With topics such as the election factors of the AFD, Kurdish autonomy, climate change in Germany and much more.

We from the AStA sports department are offering sports at the fitness container at the Campus Festival. You have the opportunity to do strength training on site with various equipment at the container, accompanied by qualified trainers.

In general, the Sports Department is responsible for managing the sports-related portion of your student fee. For example, you can apply for competition support and the various types of university sports can apply for material resources for the courses at the Obleuteversammlung. We also organise various sports trips such as surfing and skiing trips and participate in the organisation of the Dies Academicus.

We are the Department for Studies and Teaching, which was first founded in Bonn in May 2024. Our main task is to sustainably improve the quality of study and teaching at our university. To this end, we liaise with student councils and committee representatives to discuss problems in greater depth, but we are also a point of contact for students

We introduce ourselves as the newly elected Department for Studies and Teaching. We set up large whiteboards with flipchart sheets to get in direct contact with students, on which students can/should express their criticism of their studies/teaching. We would probably also set up a small box in which students can also post problems/criticism completely anonymously.
